In 1986, Sel Hester purchased Riverina Tyre Repairs with a simple goal: to build a future for his family. The business was soon transformed into Tyre Doctor, providing tyre repair services to agricultural machinery and earthmoving contractors across the Riverina.
Since then, Tyre Doctor has continued to evolve alongside the industries it serves, growing to a team of more than 200 people and expanding its capabilities and national footprint to meet the demands of mining and heavy industry.
Today, Tyre Doctor is a full-service OTR tyre and wheel specialist, providing tyre repair, rim non-destructive testing (NDT), rim repair and manufacture, tyre management, end-of-life tyre solutions, equipment hire, logistics, industry-recognised training through our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46444), tyre bay consumables, and technical support.
Our services support customers across the whole tyre lifecycle — from repair and management through to reuse, replacement and end-of-life solutions.
Our teams combine industry experience and technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions that help customers minimise downtime, extend tyre and rim life, and maximise fleet performance.
