Tyre Doctor delivers nationwide OTR tyre repair services for mining and heavy earthmoving fleets. Our experienced tyre repair specialists work on earthmover tyres up to ultra-class, designed to operate under extreme loads, high temperatures and abrasive conditions.
We provide high-quality repairs using proven hot-vulcanised repair methods, in-house patch building and cable reinforcement technology, helping extend tyre life and maximise the value of each tyre.
To support operational continuity, we operate a dedicated fleet of specialised B-doubles for the safe transport of oversize tyres to and from sites, helping minimise downtime and keep fleets moving.
For over 40 years, Tyre Doctor has specialised in hot-vulcanised tyre repairs, supporting mining and heavy earthmoving operations across Australia.
Our technicians visit major sites monthly to conduct pre-repair inspections, assessing each tyre’s condition, repair suitability and the most appropriate repair method before transport. This helps prevent unnecessary freight costs while supporting preventative maintenance programs for 57” and 63” ultra-class tyres across mining fleets.
At our modern, purpose-built OTR repair facilities, custom-designed handling equipment, in-house patch building capability and decades of technical expertise enable our team to undertake repairs ranging from preventative repairs through to complex repairs requiring cable reinforcement technology.
Our in-house patch building capability, formally known as the Bonzer Repair System, has been developed and refined through more than 40 years of tyre repair experience, research and development. Working with rubber compounding specialists, we continue to evolve our repair methods to meet the demands of modern mining applications.
All Tyre Doctor OTR repairs are compliant with Australian Standard AS 4457.2:2024 and are carried out in facilities operating under ISO-certified quality, safety and environmental management systems, giving our clients confidence in every repair.
We also provide tyre repair awareness training for site management teams, helping improve tyre inspection, repair identification and preventative maintenance practices onsite.
All tyre repairs are carried out in strict accordance with Australian Standard AS 4457.2:2024, ensuring each repair meets the required safety and quality standards.
While operating conditions, application and tyre positioning are determined by the customer and are beyond Tyre Doctor’s control, we guarantee that the repair itself complies with the applicable Australian Standard.
We provide a warranty on all earthmoving tyre repairs, calculated as a percentage of the tyre’s average life. For example, a major repair on a 57” tyre with an average life of 5,500 hours is warranted for 20% of that life — equivalent to 1,100 hours.
