Course Features

This is an information session, covering the below topics
  • Tyre fitting process and the safety requirements to ensure a safe workplace.
  • (Accidents and incidents free)
  • Obligations as a Supervisor/Superintendent or Manager under the Mines Safety Inspection Act and Coal Mine Safety and Health Act
  • Supervisor ability to spot unsafe practices within tyre fitting tasks
  • Supervisor awareness of tyre fitting tasks
  • Rim components and how they work
  • Components of three – five-piece rims and double gutters rim assemblies
  • Assisting tyre fitters in decision-making on potentially hazardous tyres
This session can be modified per site with a discussion with our trainer.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the final assessment and full payment of the invoice, a Certificate of participation.
