R U OK? Day 2026 at Tyre Doctor – Ask R U OK? Any Day

R U OK Day 2026 at Leeton HQ office

This week, teams across Tyre Doctor came together to recognise R U OK? Day, taking time to connect and reinforce the importance of looking out for each other.

Working across mine sites throughout Australia can involve long shifts, demanding environments and time away from home. While physical safety is always a priority, looking out for each other goes beyond that. It’s about knowing our workmates, noticing when someone doesn’t seem themselves and taking the time to check in.

Looking Out for Each Other

You don’t need to be an expert or have all the answers. Simply asking the question, taking the time to listen and encouraging a workmate to seek support when needed can make a difference.

This year’s theme, “Ask R U OK? Any Day,” reminds us that checking in with the people around us shouldn’t be limited to one day of the year.

We Care

We Care is one of our core values at Tyre Doctor. It means looking out for our workmates, supporting one another and creating a workplace where people feel comfortable speaking up.

As part of R U OK? Day, our team was also given access to practical webinars designed to help them recognise when someone may need support and feel more confident starting a conversation.

R U OK? Day is an important reminder, but looking out for each other is something we can do every day.

If someone doesn’t seem themselves, trust your instincts and take the time to check in. Starting the conversation could make a difference.
