Tyre Repairs for Mining Operations

For nearly four decades, Tyre Doctor has been a specialist in hot vulcanised repairs for ultra-class tyres, supporting mining operations across Australia.

Established OTR Repair Specialists

Our technicians visit major sites monthly to conduct pre-repair inspections, ensuring only suitable tyres are transported for repair. This prevents unnecessary freight costs whilst supporting preventive maintenance programs for 57” & 63” ultra-class tyres across mining fleets.
At our modern, purpose-built OTR repair facility, custom-designed handling equipment and decades of technical expertise enable us to deliver consistent, high-quality tyre repairs.
All Tyre Doctor OTR repairs are fully compliant with Australian Standard AS 4457.2:2024 and are carried out in facilities ISO-certified for safety, environmental, and quality management systems, giving our clients peace of mind with every repair.

Our Guarantee

All tyre repairs are carried out in strict accordance with Australian Standard AS 4457.2:2024, ensuring each repair meets the required safety and quality standards. While operating conditions, application, and tyre positioning are determined by the customer and are beyond Tyre Doctor’s control, we guarantee that the repair itself fully complies with Australian Standards.

Warranty

We provide a warranty on all earthmoving tyre repairs, calculated as a percentage of the tyre’s average life. For example, a major repair on a 57” tyre with an average life of 5,500 hours is warranted for 20% of that life – equivalent to 1,100 hours.
