TyreDoctor is pleased to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service with a donation of $42,000 towards the purchase of three (3) Hamilton T1 Intensive Care Transport Ventilators for use on aircraft flying out of the RFDS Broken Hill & Dubbo bases.
The Hamilton T1 Intensive Care Transport Ventilator provides portable oxygen therapy and breathing support independent of any oxygen source, filling a critical need in aeromedical service for remote areas.
The state-of-the-art, Swiss-made Hamilton T1 Ventilator also features specialist equipment for neo-natal ventilation support and high-flow nasal oxygen therapy in very young children.
The team at TyreDoctor are strong believers in giving back to the community – particularly in the regions where our work comes from. It’s our privilege to support the lifesaving mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service which is so critically important to the communities of rural & remote Australia.
Stay tuned for updates when the new Ventilators are commissioned into service at an RFDS base in the coming weeks!
